Authenticity can often be confused with an attitude that screams “whatever seems right to me has to be okay with everyone else.” As women who have been transformed by the power of the gospel, authenticity becomes about “whatever glorifies the Lord is right for me.” Oftentimes in the busyness of being a professional, a student, a wife, a mother or a grandmother we lose sight of our mission to put God on display in everything we say, do and think. What we claim to believe is not exhibited in how we live in the day to day. Our desire is to see the gospel seep into every element of your day and for you as Ephesians 4:22-24 says, to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. Join us in November as we come together to be encouraged and challenged to live an authentic life.
