There are so many opportunties for those looking to serve here at Faith Family. Volunteer teams allow you to love others sacrificially using your time, talents and skills while you foster deeper relationships with other Members. Keep scrolling to learn about the various teams and roles offered at Faith Family and discover where you will serve the Kingdom of Jesus!

 

Baptism Team Member

This team is responsible for the logistics that come the morning of celebrating Believer's Baptism at FFBC. Serving on this team includes prepping dry towels and robes for candidates, providing assistance as people enter and exit the baptistry, assisting the pastors as needed, and helping wash and dry used towels after the baptism has ended.


Church Communications

This team is responsible for church communications including social media managment, membership prayer-request and general electronic communications to members and guests. Members on this team should have access to internet and know their way around a computer or smartphone. 


Decision Counselors

Decision Counselors are members who will be ready to pray or lead someone to salvation who has responded in faith during one of our Sunday gatherings. While a pastor will offer an invitation each week, Decision Counselors offer further conversation and follow up. Those in this role are appointed by the pastors of Faith Family but you may express your interest by clicking below.


Evangelism/Outreach

One of the ways Faith Family makes the effort to reach our neighbors with the gospel is through, Overflow, our door-to-door outreach. All members are encouraged to join us on these days to pray and share the gospel with for our neighbors. If you would like to further help with Overflow members can serve by helping coordiante the logistics and packet preparation for our outreach teams.


Facilities/Maintenance

Those on this team assist with various building and groundskeeping tasks that might include light electrical work, plumbing work, flooring installation, interior painting, light remodeling, landscaping, tree pruning, moving furniture or equipment, golf cart maintenance and repair, and other small to medium-sized projects.


Faith Factory (Preschool Volunteer)

Teachers and Caregivers for Faith Factory make the most of every opportunity to show preschoolers the love of Christ and point them to the knowledge of God. Faith Factory has many operating times, each of which requires a team of volunteers to care for our littles. Roles and responsibilites include front desk/check-in helpers, bible study teachers, assistant teachers, and various others roles for the caring of babies-4years. Times to serve include: Sunday Bible Study 9:15am, Sunday Extended Care 10:30am, and Wednesday Bible Study 6:30pm


Faith Kids (1st-5th): "Sticky Faith"

Sticky Faith is our Wednesday Night discipleship program for children at FFBC. Join this team and help serve as Recreation Leaders, Sticky Faith "Listeners" or a Standby Volunteer.


Faith Kids (1st-5th)

In addition to "Sticky Faith", Faith Kids has age-appropriate Sunday morning bible study at 9:15am for elementary age children. 


FFStudents Leadership Team

Student Ministry Leaders provide opportunities for the junior high and high school students of FFBC to meet together in prayer, worship, Bible study, and fellowship.


Greeters/Ushers

This team of men and women is responsible for warmly receiving Faith Family members and guests as well as providing information about the church and helping visitors become familar with our campus and ministries.  Ushers are men who help people to their seats, distribute any bulletins or handouts, and help receive our tithes and offerings at the end of services. Ushers also serve by distributing bread and juice during the quarterly observation of the Lord’s Supper. The most important part of this role is making people feel welcome and informed while they are on our campus.


Homebound Ministry

This ministry provides particular care and encouragement for Faith Family members who are unable to attend our worship services.


Kitchen/Hospitality

Those on this team coordinate food prep and serving needs during regular or special events in our Church Family. This could include small events like fellowship after Family Meetings as well as larger events like conferences or church-wide gatherings as needed. 


LifeGroup Leaders and Host Home Volunteers

LifeGroups are one of our small group opportunities for discipleship at FFBC. LifeGroup leaders help facilitate a multi-generational group of our members in weekly discussion and fellowship. This is a leadership position at FFBC and requires additional training.

Host Home Volunteers open their homes for a LifeGroup to take place. LifeGroups meet for 6-8 week sessions with various breaks for one calendar year. Visit faithfbc.org/lifegroups to learn more about this ministry at FFBC. 


Music/Praise Team

Those on this team serve by praising and exalting the Lord through song.


Office Reception

Volunteers are needed to provide reception and light administrative help in the FFBC Business Office during regular business hours.


Tech and Media Team

Those on this team run slides for song lyrics and sermon notes, run lights and sound, and help produce our FFBC Livestream. We also offer other options during the week for service prep (lighting cues - stage design) as well as opportunities to help administer social media and produce graphic design needs. Those on this team also provide tech assistance across Faith Family's ministries.


Women's Ministry Volunteers

Help the carrying out of various events, retreats and conferences that minister to the ladies of Faith Family. For more information visit faithfbc.org/women.
